PlayStation 4

The PlayStation 4 was released in 2014. It was one  of the most successful launches of all time with over  1 million consoles being sold in the first 24 hours of the consoles release. The PS4 has an increased emphasis on online multiplayer, social interaction and the PS4 working along side other devices.  It included the ability to play games off of the console on the PlayStation Vita through remote play.  There was also the ability to he ability to stream gameplay online or to friends, with them controlling gameplay remotely  from their console through share play.  The design of the PS4 controller was much improved over the PS3, with the PS4 controller having improved buttons and analog sticks, and an integrated touchpad and a lightbar and a speaker. By the end of 2016, more than 53 million consoles have been sold worldwide, with more than 57 million sold. On September 7th 2016 Sony announced two new versions of the PlayStation 4, the PlayStation 4 Slim and the PlayStation 4 Pro. The slim was just a redesigned version of the original console, while the Pro had a upgraded GPU and a higher CPU clock rate that supported 4K gameplay on selective titles.

Some of the best games for the PS4 so far include Grand Theft Auto 5, Resident Evil VII, Doom, Destiny, The Witcher 3, Titanfall 2, .Bloodborne, Uncharted 4, Fallout 4, .Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, Rocket League, Battlefield 1, Until Dawn and The Last Of Us Remastered.

The original PlayStation 4 console released in 2014.

The PlayStation 4 Pro was released in 2016. It is a lot more powerful than the original PS4 console and is capable of almost full 4K resolution.
