The Development of Technology in Video Games
Video games have become a huge part of our culture. With the amazing graphics and stories that captivate players all around the world. These days there are so many options to choose from for gaming weather it's PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC or Virtual Reality. All of these are very powerful and highly advanced systems. But how did we get to this point? I am going to show you how we got this point by going all the way back to the earliest forms of video games starting with the first arcade game in 1909 and going all the way to the present day showing how the technology has advanced and where it might go in the future.
I am going to be going in depth into each era and looking the biggest developments at that time. I will look at the different consoles and show you video examples of what the consoles were capable of at the time. I will also be showing you some of the major events that impacted the industry and effected the development of the technology.
